What FundedInk is, and is not
FundedInk is a journaling and performance-analysis tool. It records trades you enter or import, calculates statistics from them, and presents them as charts, tables and recap images.
- FundedInk is not a brokerage, exchange, futures commission merchant, introducing broker or proprietary trading firm. It does not open accounts, hold or move money, route orders or execute trades.
- FundedInk does not hold customer funds. Nothing you pay for FundedInk is deposited anywhere on your behalf.
- FundedInk is not an investment adviser or commodity trading advisor and does not give individualized trading advice. It does not tell you what, when or whether to trade. The statistics it shows describe your own past activity only.
- FundedInk is not registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) or the National Futures Association (NFA), and it does not need your trading-platform credentials because it never acts on your accounts.
Trading risk
Trading futures, options on futures and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than your initial deposit. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts carry their own rules, fees and conditions that can end your access to an account regardless of what any journal shows.
Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Statistics such as win rate, profit factor, average win or an equity curve describe what happened; they do not predict what will happen. A journal can help you review decisions, but it does not make trading safer or more profitable.
Accuracy and timing of what FundedInk shows
Everything FundedInk displays is calculated from data you entered by hand, imported from files, or received from a third-party add-on. That data can be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, mis-timed or wrong, and the way FundedInk groups it (for example, which calendar day a late-session trade belongs to, how fees are counted, or how fills are paired into trades) may differ from your platform's or broker's conventions. Balances shown for imported accounts are calculated, not reported by a broker, and are labelled as such.
For any decision that matters, including account health, drawdown rules, taxes or disputes with a platform or prop firm, verify the figures with your trading platform's or broker's own statements. Those records are authoritative; FundedInk's are not.
Sample data
FundedInk can create clearly labelled demo accounts with invented trades so you can see how the app works. Sample data is kept out of your real totals and is marked on exports. Never present sample results as real trading performance.
Recaps and sharing
Recap images and videos are summaries you generate from your own data. They are not audited, verified or certified performance records, and FundedInk does not vouch for them to anyone you share them with. Presenting a recap as a broker statement or as proof of performance to investors, prop firms or other third parties is prohibited by the Terms of Service.
No advice
Nothing in FundedInk, its documentation, recaps or support correspondence is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional who knows your situation.
